Administrative privileges are requires to perform administrative actions on a computer, such as installing or removing programs or running certain types of software. If you attempt to do such things without administrative privileges, it will result in an error, preventing the action. You can bypass administration privileges by using the "Run as administrator" command to convince a program you have the necessary authority to take the action.

Click the "Start" menu.
Open the "Programs" menu and highlight the program you wish to bypass administrative privileges to run.
Right-click the program.
Select "Run as administrator" from the drop-down menu.
