How to Convert RTF to JPG

By Jason Gordon

RTF (Rich Text Format) is a Microsoft file format developed to make cross-platform exchange easier. JPG is a compressed image file popular for use with digital cameras, graphics software and Web posting because of its high ratio of quality to file size. Converting an RTF file to a JPG file creates an image of a text document.

Step 1

Download "RTF Converter" from Freedownloadscenter (see Resources).

Step 2

Install "RTF Converter" and open the program.

Step 3

Open the RTF file you want to convert by clicking on the "file open" icon and browsing to the file.

Step 4

Click on "Convert" and choose "Convert to JPG" from the drop-down list.

Step 5

Choose the location for the new JPG file and click "Save."
