How to Copy and Paste With a Fast Step Keystroke

By Brendan O'Brien

When you are working in Windows, you often want to be quick and accurate. One of the ways to be fast at your computer is to learn keystrokes that take away the need to use the main menu bars to move text and pictures. Keystrokes are combination of keys that, when pressed together, send a command to the computer.

Step 1

Highlight the text or photo that you want to paste.

Step 2

Press your "Control" key and your "C" key together. This will copy the text or image.

Step 3

Put your cursor in the spot where you want the text or image. Press your "Control" key and your "V" key together. The text or image will appear.
