How to Delete Seeking Alpha

Seeking Alpha is a stock market opinion and analysis website that features discussions and forums with leading stock analysts. Seeking Alpha provides free and premium memberships to site users. When you join Seeking Alpha, no software is downloaded to your computer except a series of cookies. To delete Seeking Alpha, delete the site from your Web browser history, delete the Seeking Alpha cookies and then unsubscribe from the Seeking Alpha service.

Delete Web History Files and Cookies From Internet Explorer

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer.

Step 2

Click the "Tools" option on the top navigation bar.

Step 3

Click the "Delete Browser History" option in Internet Explorer. The Delete Browser History window opens.

Step 4

Click the "Delete Cookies" button in the Cookies section in Internet Explorer. All cookies are deleted.

Step 5

Click the "Delete History" button to delete the browser history files.

Step 6

Click the "Close" button to close the dialog box.

Delete Web History Files and Cookies From Firefox

Step 1

Open Firefox.

Step 2

Click the "Tools" option on the top navigation bar.

Step 3

Click the "Options" link. The Options dialog box opens.

Step 4

Click the "Privacy" option in the top navigation pane, and then click the plus sign next to the "History" entry. The History dialog box opens. Click the "Clear" button in the dialog box, and then click "OK." The history is deleted in Firefox.

Step 5

Click "Edit" from the top navigation bar and then click "Preferences." Click the "Privacy" option on the top navigation bar. Click "Use Custom Settings for History." Click the "Show Cookies" button. The Cookies window opens. Click the first cookie in the list and then press the "Shift" and "End" keys simultaneously to select all cookies. Click the "Remove Cookies" button. The cookies are removed from Firefox.

Step 6

Click the "Close" button to close the dialog box.

Unsubscribe to Seeking Alpha

Step 1

Open a Web browser and navigate to the Seeking Alpha website at seekingalpha.com.

Step 2

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Contact Us" link. The Contact Us form opens.

Step 3

Click the "Type of Question" drop-down box and click the "Subscribe/Unsubscribe" option.

Step 4

Type "Unsubscribe" into the "Text" input box. Type your username and the email the account is associated with.

Step 5

Click the "Send" button. You will receive an email when your account is deactivated.
