Reddit is a social commentary and link aggregation website owned by Condé Nast Digital. Users can upvote and downvote submitted links, comment on links, and load media directly from other websites using an inline video and picture-viewing feature. To avoid having users unnecessarily load pictures through the inline viewer, Reddit can display thumbnails next to each picture's link. These thumbnails are a smaller version of the picture that loads quickly. To turn on thumbnails, you'll need to access the preferences section on the Reddit website.
