How to Edit the Weather on an iPhone

Preloaded onto all iPhones is a "Weather" application. The application allows you to check current and future weather conditions in selected cities. The Weather application updates every time you open the application with up-to-date information from the Weather Channel. You can customize the application by editing the city or cities you want to get weather updates for. It is possible to add or remove cities at any time.

Things You'll Need

  • Cellular data or WiFi connection

Step 1

Tap the "Weather" icon.

Step 2

Tap the "Information" icon located in the lower-right corner of the Weather application.

Step 3

Tap the red circle located to the left of any city name and click the red "Delete" button to delete that city from the application.

Step 4

Tap the "+" icon to add a city to the Weather application.

Step 5

Search for the city you want to add by typing the city name in the search bar. Press the blue "Search" button.

Step 6

Select the city you want to add from the list of cities that matches your search query.

Step 7

Repeat Steps 5 and 6 to add multiple cities to the Weather application.

Step 8

Press the round button at the bottom of the iPhone's screen to return to the home screen and save changes to the Weather application.
