The Apple iPad offers many of the functions of a full computer in the portability and convenience of a tablet. Thanks to the iPad's Wi-Fi connection capabilities, you can connect your iPad to any open wireless network in range. Some applications may require you to know your iPad's IP address in order to access certain features of the network. Fortunately, you can find that information out with a few taps of your finger.
