How to Import Documents From Word to Pages

Pages is a word-processing application made for Mac computers and Apple devices. At times, you may have a Microsoft Word document sent in an email that is now on your Mac computer or device. You can easily open the Word document with the Pages application.

Step 1

Click and hold the Word file that you want to import.

Step 2

Drag the file onto the Pages icon on your dock or in your Applications folder.

Step 3

Wait for the Word document to appear in your Pages application.
