How to Make a Letterhead on Word Pad

WordPad is a basic word processing software that is included with almost all versions of Microsoft Windows. It is not as advanced as Microsoft Word. However, you can still use the program for basic document needs. You can make a letterhead with an image or your company logo using WordPad. Note that you may need administrative rights to complete this task.

Step 1

Click the Start menu and point to "All Programs." Click "Accessories." Click to launch "WordPad."

Step 2

Click the "File" menu and choose "Save." Type a file name for the document. Choose a location where you wish to save the document. Click "Save."

Step 3

Click the "Insert" tab on the top bar and choose "Object." Choose the option "Create from File."

Step 4

Click the "Browse" button to navigate to the location with the header image or header logo. Single-click the file and hit "Open." You will see the letterhead on the top of your document.

Step 5

Click "File" and choose "Save."
