How to Make Fonts Bigger to View in Hotmail

By Dustin Thornton

Hotmail is a free Web-based email service offered by Microsoft. If you have a Hotmail account and you have trouble reading an email because the font is too small, you can adjust the browser text size to make the fonts larger or smaller. This process is slightly different for Mac computer and PCs; however it's the same between browsers. This affects all websites viewed in your browser and you can easily readjust it if unhappy with the results.

Step 1

Launch your Internet browser and visit Hotmail.com.

Step 2

Enter your Hotmail email address (including the "@hotmail.com") into the "Windows Live ID" field and account password into the "Password" field. Click "Sign in" to access your account.

Step 3

Click on your "Inbox" to view any emails in your inbox then click on an email to read it.

Step 4

Press the "Ctrl" key on your PC keyboard or "Command" key on your Mac keyboard.

Step 5

Press the "+" key on your keyboard while holding "Ctrl" or "Command" to enlarge the font.
