How to Open .svg Files

By Contributing Writer

SVG stands for "Scalable Vector Graphics." The World Wide Web Consortium created the vector graphic format for images on the Web. Some browsers, including Google Chrome, Safari and Opera, have limited built-in support for SVG files. Internet Explorer, however, does not. The most common solution is the Adobe SVG Viewer.
