How to Print 4X6 Index Cards

Trying to remember key concepts in your studies can be difficult if you don’t have a study aid. Index card are a simple tool that you can use to help with your studies. Write down the key concepts on the cards and review these cards through the day. There are several free index card templates available to download. These templates are available on your computer and online. Download and customize these cards for your next big cram session.

Publisher 2010

Step 1

Open Publisher 2010 and type “Index Cards” in the center search box. Review the available templates that appear. Click a template to review additional details about it in the right task pane. Click the “Download” icon in the right task pane. The template downloads and opens.

Step 2

Add your notes to the index card. Save the index cards for future use by clicking “Control” and “S” on the keyboard.

Step 3

Print the index cards by pressing “Control” and “P” on your keyboard.

Google Documents

Step 1

Access Google Documents website (see Resources). Type “Index Cards” in the search box and click “Search Templates.” Review the available templates that appear. Click “Use This Template” to download the template.

Step 2

Add your notes to the index card. Save the index cards for future use by clicking the “Save” icon on the menu.

Step 3

Print the index cards clicking the “Print” icon on the menu.

OpenOffice

Step 1

Access the OpenOffice website (see Resources). Type “Index Cards” in the search box. Review the available templates that appear. Click “Use This” to download the template.

Step 2

Add your notes to the index card. Save the index cards for future use by clicking the “Save” icon on the menu.

Step 3

Print the index cards by clicking the “Print” icon on the menu.
