How to print song lists in iTunes
Apple's iTunes program includes a variety of features to successfully manage your library. iTunes lets you listen to music directly on your computer, export it to an iPod or iPhone or you can burn a music disc. There's even a print feature if you need to print out a list of your songs. The print feature lets you select list types depending on why you need to print. The CD option prints an insert for a CD you've made. The Song and Album list options let you print full-page lists of the songs in the selected playlist or library.
Things You'll Need
- a printer (color, if you want to get fancy)
- scissors, if you want to trim up a jewel case print
Open iTunes using the shortcut or "Start" menu. On a Mac, click the Dock icon or open it from the "Applications" folder.
Select the music you want to list. Click "Music" under "Library" to make a list of all the music in your library. Click a playlist to print the songs in a particular playlist, such as for a CD you've burned.
Open the "File" menu and click the "Print" option. Click on the type of list you want to print in the "Print" list. Click the "Theme" drop-down menu to select a theme for your list with a preview on the side. Click "Print" when you're finished.
Tips & Warnings
- iTunes will automatically grab artwork from the artist's available images for you, should you choose a jewel case.
- You may end up needing to experiment, in case you have a longish playlist, and your Song Listing or Album Listing. just in case you get a bad page break - say, in the middle of a song.
