How to Program a Uniden 6.0 Phone the Easy Way
Uniden DECT 6.0 handsets allow owners to use their cordless phones without interfering with wireless signals from Wi-Fi networks. Some Uniden base stations can accept up to seven handsets. The base stations are sold with various numbers of handsets, but you can buy extra handsets if you need more. Before they can be used, the handsets must be programmed to use the base station.
Charge the Uniden handset completely using the accessory charger.
Sit the handset on the base station. The display on the handset will display "Handset Registering" after about 30 seconds.
Wait for the display to change to "Registration complete" and remove it from the base. The display will show the identification number of the handset. If it says "Registration failed," try charging the handset longer.
Test the connection by pressing the "Talk/Flash" button and listening for a dial tone.
Tips & Warnings
- If the handset won't fit in the base, unplug the base unit AC adapter and press the "Find" button while plugging the cord back in. Hold down the button until the charging LED blinks, then press the "#" key on the handset.
- If the base is mounted on a vertical surface, hold the handset in place.
