How to Remove Audio With VLC
VLC is an open-source, cross-platform multimedia player. The main benefit of VLC is its ability to play back a wide range of video formats. Where iTunes, QuickTime or Windows Media Player might fail to properly play certain file types due to improper codecs, VLC will almost certainly play the video with ease. If you want to play a movie in VLC without audio, you can disable the audio track.
Locate the video file and right-click it. Select "Open With," then "VLC."
Open the "Audio" menu item.
Select "Audio Track," then "Disable." This will remove the audio stream, leaving the video to play alone.
