How to Remove Auto Password

One of the convenient features that is a part of Microsoft's Web browser Internet Explorer is AutoComplete. This feature suggests previously entered text as you fill out online forms and type Web addresses. It also offers the option of remembering passwords. Some users might not feel comfortable with this and will want to disable it.

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer and click the "Tools" button on the toolbar. A drop-down menu will appear.

Step 2

Select "Internet Options" from the menu.

Step 3

Click on the "Content" tab at the top of the window.

Step 4

Click the "Settings" button. The "AutoComplete Settings" box will open.

Step 5

Click the box labeled "User names and passwords on forms" to remove the check mark. Click "OK."
