How to Remove Cyberlink

By Jason Artman

CyberLink PowerDVD is a program that allows a computer with a DVD-ROM drive to play DVD movies. PowerDVD gained popularity soon after its release due to its ability to allow computers without hardware MPEG-2 decoding, but reasonably fast processors, to play DVD movies. However, as of 2010 most computers have the ability to decode MPEG-2 streams in hardware, and Windows includes software to play DVD movies. If you have another program you prefer for playing DVD movies on the computer, remove CyberLink PowerDVD through the Control Panel or by deleting the associated files and registry entries manually.
