How to Remove the Partition on a Mac

By Bennett Gavrish

The Disk Utility tool is included with all Apple computers running the Mac OS X operating system. With Disk Utility, Mac users can manage both internal and external hard drives. You can format hard drives, create new partitions and even remove existing partitions. Keep in mind that removing a partition will erase all of its data and release the free disk space back into the other existing partitions.
