WeatherBug provides real-time weather updates either as a modern app in Windows 8 and 8.1, or as a desktop application in Windows 7, 8 and 8.1. It does, however, use annoying advertisements that can distract you from your work. Remove the modern-style app directly from the Start screen, and remove the desktop version from the Programs and Features panel.

To remove the WeatherBug modern app, get to the Start screen of your Windows 8/8.1 installation, and then right-click the WeatherBug tile. Select Uninstall, and then click Uninstall again to remove the app. To remove the desktop version of WeatherBug, press Windows-R to open the Run box, type, appwiz.cpl, and then press Enter. On the list of apps, select WeatherBug, and then click Uninstall to remove it. If you can't remove the desktop version of WeatherBug normally due to a corrupted installation, use third-party uninstallers such as CCleaner, Revo Uninstaller or GeekUninstaller to forcibly remove the application.
