How to Use the Equalizer in iTunes

iTunes has the wonderful ability to play music on your personal computer along with allowing you to purchase music. If your home computer or a secondary computer is the hub of your home audio system, you will want to quickly work with the equalizer function in iTunes when playing your music. With just a few simple steps, you can use the equalizer in iTunes to customize your listening experience.

Step 1

Start iTunes on your desktop.

Step 2

Click on View in the Menu bar.

Step 3

Move the cursor down to Show Equalizer.

Step 4

Click on Show Equalizer.

Step 5

Adjust the equalizer to your preferences.

Step 6

Click on the X in the top right to close the equalizer.

Tips & Warnings

  • When you are using the iTunes system, you can also use the custom command ctrl + T to activate the iTunes equalizer.
